I haven't seen many places that mention this product. The only reason I noticed it was because I was browsing around and later decided to convert my grandfathered eChecking into their MCU Checking

Requirements:
estatements
direct deposit or debit
10 debit card transactions OR $1000 in purchases with the debit card


If the requirements are met, then the interest rates are

3.56% for balances upto 25k
0.70% on balances over 25k

If requirements are not met, then the interest is 0.05%

(Compared to the eChecking, which requires direct deposit and only earns 0.05% on balances over 2.5k, I called MCU to convert to the MCU Checking)

Depositing money to the CU is pretty easy since the expressTeller feature (you can scan your checks at home!) and they have various Service Centers people can reach.
